Had to make up a custom cable because different manufacturers appear to have adopted different poles for the various inputs. Fortunately i found the acer c20 specs and hey presto the image appeared.
Getting the pc/usb connection wasn’t straight forward. The projector should automatically download the driver, but you have to select the input source otherwise the ‘drive’ that contains the software dismounts.
One last bit of advice, ipad/iphone won’t do mirroring through the apple composite cable. That are designed to drive the composite signal. That includes the slideshow in photos, various video players etc.Can fit into my handbag and allows for easy-to-go presentations. The resolution is good enough to allow for a clear picture and acceptable presentation. I just got the projector and have yet to figure out all its functionalities.

I have tried it with films though. The picture is acceptable and quite sharp really it soon gets to be big even at a few feet away.
There’s no optical zoom so positioning could be an issue. I have not found any of the foibles stated in other reviews. However the fan is a bit loud, my db application suggests 45-48 db about a foot away from the unit this is about library level of noise and to be honest you can ignore it after a while still it runs cooler than bulb projectors. I couldn’t get it to run vob files from usb in full screen and product help line never got back to my email. I was not disappointed, it is very good, a reasonably clear picture and, in a dark enough room, can easily project a watchable picture of about 8ft diagonally. Don’t expect hd, but it certainly beats vhs tapes and is great for old black and white films. The only down side for me is that there is no audio out, so when playing from the sd card or usb you have to use its internal speakers; but with av you can take the sound to an external player, hence 4 stars. This is an excellent product and as advertised – amazing picture quality – light and easy to use.I wanted to buy a portable projector so i decided to check almost every model in the market so far. At the end i bought the ivation pro 3 couple of days ago and i’ve been impressed, so i decided to write a review for all the users who like me are struggling to buy one. I tried the projector with movies on usb stick, airplay from iphone and ps4 games. Pros- portable with android and great functions. It reads mkv files, you can install apps (netflix,vlc and so forth). It comes with the app for airplay ios and osx but i suggest to use the cable instead due to the wifi delays- speakers are ok at 100%, the volume is loud enough- good quality steel and materials- image quality is great. I reached 100′ in the dark room with good quality but i think 60-70′ is the right size to have a good compromise quality/size- it comes with a leather case, tripod, remote, hdmi cable, uk adaptercons- the packaging is a bit poor, outside is well made but inside is cheap paper so you basically destroy the boxes when opened- the battery is so and so.

As the reviews say the details do get a bit fuzzy when you really look. I had an issue with the dust getting on the internal mirror but there is a flap you can open to clean it. The product broke down about 3 months down the line, after i contacted the store they responded within the day and sent me out a replacement with minimal stress.Not a bad little projector.
Bought this little project to transfer photos and graphics from a computer to board and canvas for airbrushing. The image is a little blocky when projected but certainly works well. I did plug a set top box into it and got a very respectable picture. Although i’m not sure the sound and picture are quite in sync. Not the greatest purchase but cheap enough i guess. Has had dust in the lens on the left from day one, inside the setup where we can’t clean it.
